N2 - The aim of this paper is to support the awareness of software developers and project managers as regards the evolution of software items by means of the visualization of collaboration between developers and the understanding of the evolution of commercial and open source software items. The proposed design is supported by several interaction techniques and presents detailed information regarding the creation of baselines, branches, revisions and the relationships among them. A case study has been carried out and the usefulness of the tool applied to discover relations and support awareness is revealed through the use of interaction.
