Resumen

Structure integrity analysis (specially on bridges) is fundamental in order to prevent and avoid any possible accident or severe damage to, both, people surrounding and the structure itself. The problem with vibration based-analysis is that conventional techniques, on bridge fault analysis specifically, are performed offline, which could take a considerable amount of time, and its required instrumentation is, in general, expensive and complicated. An embedded, online and real-time vibration-based fault detection system, considering the current advances in embedded systems and real-time operating systems, may bring a non-expensive (at least less expensive) solution for this problem. Our paper focus on this treatment for the well known problem of structure fault analysis.
