N2 - The present case study highlights the importance of involving university students in scientific research for their intellectual development and the acquisition of essential skills as future professionals. It focuses on scientific research networks, emphasizing their crucial role in collaboration, productivity, and internationalization, thereby enhancing the quality of research. Similarly, international student mobility, driven by institutions such as the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica, is presented as a valuable opportunity to strengthen research projects at a global level. Additionally, the case illustrates how methodological triangulation, merging quantitative and qualitative approaches, is identified as an effective strategy for gaining a deeper understanding of the phenomena studied. This case underscores the relevance of research in social entrepreneurship, emphasizing international collaboration and methodological diversification for research.
