N2 - In this work, the technology of solar hydropanels for atmospheric water generation is evaluated in a weather-monitored location in the Central Valley of Costa Rica, city of Cartago. Two hydropanels are assessed during dry and rainy seasons, and the water production is correlated to meteorological variables such as solar radiation, relative humidity, and temperature. Results confirm a high correlation between solar intensity and relative humidity at night, with water production, oscillating between 0.7 and 5 liters per day per panel, at the cost of approximately 0.35 US dollars per liter, on average.
