His research works primarily focuses on topics concerning innovation, entrepreneurship, and competitiveness in SMEs. Furthermore, he is interested in digitalization and green management practices in SMEs, as well as work safety practices and policies, and their economic benefits from an organizational perspective.
Ronald Mora is a Professor in the School of Business at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (ITCR). He earned his Bachelor´s in Economics at the Costa Rica University in 1987 and his Master´s in Business Administration at ITCR in 1998. Moreover, he completed his PhD. in Business Management at the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2010.
He taught Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Research Methodology for the Business Administration Bachelor's Program at ITCR, as well as Research Methods for the Business Management Research Master's and Doctoral Programs at ITCR. He works at the Business, Economics and Technology Management Research Centre (CIADEG-TEC).
His research has been published in a variety of journals, including among others Small Business Economics, Venture Capital, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research, Competitiveness Review: An International Business Journal, Academia Revista Latinoamericana de Administración (ARLA), International Journal of Business Environment, and International Journal of Business Environment.
